The alignment, precision in execution, the sequence and the duration of the positions, are the peculiar characteristics of this method which acts on a physical, emotional and mental level. IYENGAR teachers are trained to help students individually, even in group lessons. The method allows people of mature age or people with various postural and health problems to practice safely (after medical consultation). IYENGAR (R) is a registered trade mark and used with permit of owner.
Fundamentals and Development
In course there are all the kind of poses - standing poses, forward bends, backbends, inversions, dynamic sequences, restorative versions of asanas and pranayama.
